About Me

“As a therapist-in-training in my fifth year of private practice, I offer an open and confidential space where you can explore any issue that you wish to bring. This may be a current difficulty that you are experiencing, something connected to the past, or perhaps challenging feelings you are having that you would like to explore, better understand and make meaning of. I work in an integrative and collaborative way, meaning that I draw upon various schools of thought whilst working alongside you and always respecting the fact that the only expert on yourself – is you! I believe in the importance of recognising and attending to all of the elements that make a person – mental, physical and spiritual. My own life experience has taught me the immeasurable value and importance of having an impartial person to share innermost thoughts, feelings and experiences with, in a safe and contained space. The impact my own therapy has had on my life has led me to train myself.  Prior to training as a therapist I have worked in a variety of sectors.  Alongside my private practice I have also worked as a volunteer at Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester. I completed my foundation certificate in counselling and psychotherapy in 2018. In 2024 I completed the sixth and final year of my Masters degree course in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy at BCPC in Bath who are accredited by Middlesex University and within the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College (HIPC) , a part of UKCP. I am currently writing my dissertation. I hold a UKCP trainee membership.
